Workshop Details

Join me for an immersive journey into the Sacred Feminine through divine creativity in beautiful Sauveterre-de-Béarn, France.

In this workshop you will:

  • Deep Dive into Goddess Archetypes: Explore symbols, connect with ancestors, mothers, and grandmothers.
  • Create Magic in the Cauldron: Use the studio as a cauldron to merge ink and paper, developing one-of-a-kind prints.
  • Master Monotype Techniques: Apply ink to the plate with brush or roller and embellish with color, texture, collage, and stencil.
  • Explore Playfulness: The monotype process encourages playfulness and exploration, perfect for traditional styles to looser abstraction.
  • Receive Individual Attention: Everyone receives Glen’s individual attention to guide them from idea to finished print.

Please note: This workshop is suitable for all levels. The Monotype (or monoprint) is a one-of-a-kind print made by painting or drawing on an acrylic plate, then run through an etching press.

Goals

  1. Connect Mind, Body, and Spirit using all tools for a creative experience.
  2. Develop richness and depth in work using multiple color runs through the press.
  3. Celebrate the Divine Feminine through art in a location where Mary Magdalene took refuge.
  4. Walk away with more than just a suite of prints—an enriching creative experience.
